Dress Code

ECCC DRESS CODE UPDATE Effective May 14, 2021
As fashions change, so must the Essex County Country Club Dress Code. The 2021 House Committee decided to review and update ECCC’s Dress Code to keep with current country club trends and ensure all members and guest can enjoy the Club comfortably. We ask the members to use common sense when it comes to the Dress Code at ECCC. If there is any doubt regarding the Dress Code, a simple call to the Club prior to arrival can go a long way to avoiding an awkward situation.
While on the grounds of the Club, all members and their guests are required to abide by the dress code AT ALL TIMES. It is the responsibility of each member to ensure their guests adhere to the dress code while on Club property. Failure to comply with the dress code can lead to member review by the Infractions Committee and possible disciplinary action(s) and/or suspension.
It is important to remember, if a member of the staff mentions a Dress Code policy infraction to you, please do not get upset or be disrespectful as they are only doing their job. Please direct any questions regarding the 2021 Dress Code to the current House Committee chairperson and/or General Manager of Operations, Mary Ann Peters.
Thank you for your cooperation and adherence to the Dress Code.
